- 1 store bought pie crust prebaked, cooled
- ¼ cup hot water
- 3 tbsp instant coffee powder
- 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch salt
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp chocolate powder for topping, if desired
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the hot water and instant coffee powder, whisking until dissolved. Whisk in the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
- Using a hand mixer or a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat the cream at medium-high speed until medium peaks form, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the sweetened condensed milk mixture to the cream and beat at medium-high speed until stiff peaks form, 2 to 3 minutes more. Pour the mixture into the cooled crust. Top with chocolate powder shaken through a sieve, if desired.
- Freeze, uncovered, until firm, 4 to 6 hours.
